The East Central Alberta Review, a community newspaper for over 98 years now serves 83 communities in East Central Alberta. It is owned and operated by publisher,
Joyce Webster with it’s main office in Coronation.
Webster was born and raised in Coronation, and took a position working for the already established newspaper
as a receptionist /typesetter and fell in love with
the newspaper business.
In 1985 the opportunity became available to purchase the business and Webster jumped at the chance. “Besides marketing and promoting businesses
in 83 different communities; and reporting the
news happenings both in print and on the web,” said
Webster, “we also do commercial printing, including
business cards, flyers, programs, bull sale catalogues and invoices.
Webster is only one of the several owners since the
newspaper originated in September 27, 1911, the day the first (land) lots were sold in Coronation.
She is looking forward to the 100 Year Centennial Celebration jointly with the Town of Coronation in
August of 2011. She is presently working on publishing
